Your Android notifications.
Right on your Mac.
Finally.

Your phone buzzes in the other room. Claxon puts the notification in your Mac menu bar — so you can read it, reply to it, and see who's calling without breaking focus on what you're doing.

More than just a notification mirror.

Reply to messages, see who's calling, find your phone when it's buried in the couch — all without breaking focus.

💬

Reply From Your Mac

Hit reply on a WhatsApp, Telegram, or SMS notification right from your Mac. The message sends through your phone, same as if you'd typed it there yourself.

📞

See Who's Calling

When your phone rings, the caller's name and number show up at the top of the Claxon panel, so you can decide whether it's worth grabbing the phone. Miss it? A soft orange badge in your menu bar keeps it visible until you've seen it.

📍

Find My Phone

Hit the Find My Phone button and your Android rings at full volume — even on silent. Great for when it's wedged between the couch cushions.

✈️

Travel Mode (Bluetooth)

Hotel Wi-Fi blocking devices from seeing each other? Café network behind a captive portal? Flip Travel Mode on and Claxon falls back to Bluetooth — same notifications, same replies, same Find My Phone, just over BLE when you're not on a shared Wi-Fi.

📌

Pin Important Notifications

Pin the ones that matter. They stick to the top and survive a "clear all," so the stuff you actually care about doesn't get buried.

🎨

Themes & Transparency

Light, Dark, or Glass. Drag the transparency slider to dial in exactly how much of your desktop shows through. Dock it or float it anywhere.

🔒

Completely Private

Nothing leaves your local network or Bluetooth link. No cloud, no account, no telemetry. Just your phone talking directly to your Mac over an encrypted connection.

🔔

Real-Time Mirroring

Notifications land in your menu bar the moment they hit your phone. Full previews, proper app icons, grouped neatly by app.

🎛️

Smart Filtering

Banking alerts, 2FA codes, and health data stay on your phone by default. Block whole categories or mute individual apps — your call.

📸

Screenshot Capture

Snap your phone's screen straight to your Mac. No cables, no cloud upload, no emailing screenshots to yourself just to get them off the phone.

Pick a look. Put it anywhere.

Dock it in the menu bar or tear it off as a floating window. Three themes, a transparency slider, and no wrong answer.

Claxon Light theme — clean bright panel with notification groups

Light

Bright, minimal, plays nice with macOS light mode.

Claxon Dark theme — sleek dark panel with transparency

Dark

Deep blacks, soft contrast, kind to tired eyes at 1am.

Claxon Glass theme — frosted blur with desktop visible behind

Glass

Frosted and translucent — your desktop subtly shows through.

Reply without touching your phone

Expand a notification, type, hit send. The message goes out over your phone's actual connection — same number, same chat thread, same account you'd use if you were tapping the screen.

Know who's calling before you pick up

When your phone rings, Claxon shows the caller's name and number right at the top of the panel. Glance at your Mac, decide whether it's worth grabbing the phone, and skip the scramble through your bag for a robocall.

And if you don't get to it in time? The menu bar icon flips to a soft orange badge with the missed-call details waiting in the panel — so you won't find out hours later when you finally unlock your phone.

Works for any incoming call — regular cellular, not just VoIP.

Pin what matters. Filter the noise.

Pin the notifications worth keeping — they stay put while you clear the rest. And 2FA codes, bank balances, and health data stay on your phone where they belong, not on the screen your coworker is looking at.

Paired in under 30 seconds

Open the Android app, point it at the QR code on your Mac, done. No sign-up, no email confirmation, no third party sitting between your two devices. Your phone and your Mac talk directly — over Wi-Fi at home and Bluetooth on the road — and nobody else gets a seat at the table.

System Requirements

Mac

  • macOS 13 (Ventura) or later
  • Intel or Apple Silicon
  • Wi-Fi (plus Bluetooth 4.0+ for Travel Mode)

Android

  • Android 10 or later
  • Any manufacturer (Samsung, Pixel, OnePlus, Xiaomi, etc.)
  • Same Wi-Fi as Mac — or Bluetooth, with Travel Mode

Questions? Answered.

Nope. Your phone talks directly to your Mac over your local Wi-Fi (TLS-encrypted) or, with Travel Mode on, over Bluetooth LE (link-layer encrypted). Nothing we run sits in the middle. There's no Claxon server, no account to sign up for, and no telemetry pinging home.

Yep. Any app that lets you reply from a notification on Android works here too — WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, SMS, Slack, Discord, and plenty more. Expand the notification, type, hit send.

Click the Find My Phone icon in the Claxon footer bar. Your Android rings at max volume — silent mode and Do Not Disturb be damned. Click again to shut it up once you've dug it out of the couch.

When your phone rings, a banner drops into Claxon with the caller's name (pulled from your contacts) and number. One click answers, one click declines. The audio still comes out of your phone — Claxon is just the remote control.

Any Android phone on Android 10 or later. We tune first on Samsung Galaxy, but Pixel, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Nothing, and the rest all run it just fine.

macOS 13 (Ventura) or later. Works on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.

For the best experience, yes — same Wi-Fi is the fast path. But Claxon also has Travel Mode: enable it in the Android app and your phone will fall back to a direct Bluetooth Low Energy connection when there's no shared Wi-Fi. Notifications, replies, calls, and Find My Phone all still work. Just keep the phone within ~10 metres of your Mac. Screenshots stay Wi-Fi only because BLE doesn't have the bandwidth.

Pick the Annual plan, get 7 days of the full app for free — every feature, no crippling. Don't like it? Cancel before day 7 and we won't charge you. Prefer to skip the trial? Grab the Lifetime license and you're done.

Three options: Monthly at $1.99/mo, Annual at $9.99/yr (saves 58%), or Lifetime at $19.99 one-time. Monthly and Annual both include a 7-day free trial. All plans include every feature and all future updates. Cancel subscriptions anytime.

Email support@getclaxon.app and we'll get back to you. Include your macOS version, Android version, and a quick description of what you're seeing — we usually reply within a day.
